YOUTH ACADEMY
Our youth academy has been the foundation of our player development model from the very beginning. This is where young girls come to kick a ball for the first time, make new friends, fall in love with soccer, and become Hawks for life.
Our methods are the product of decades of experience and have helped develop some of the best soccer players in Michigan. Our players grow up to be, college team captains, national team members, successful professionals, they grow up to be amazing young women.

MSDSL
The purpose of the Michigan State Developmental Soccer League is to provide the best environment for the development of youth soccer players below the age of 12 through a league environment that encourages fun, creativity and competitiveness.The Michigan State Developmental Soccer League is the select developmental program for boys’ and girls’ teams from U-7 through U-12 for its participating clubs. The league is administered by representatives from each member organization.

PRE-ECNL
Pre-ECNL is a pre-cursor to our ECNL Girls Program which is the highest level of play for our girls here at the club.
The Pre-ECNL Program is the introduction of our female players to elite level training and identification opportunities at ages U11 and U12. Pre-ECNL teams will participate regional games against other ECNL programs to provide the highest level of competition for the players.
DIRECTORS ACADEMY
The Director’s Academy (DA) is a statewide program of the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association. Entry to the DA is only for clubs who meet the requirements set forth in the DA application. Directed at the U11 and U12 age groups, the program focuses on club, team and player development through coaching education. With this focus in mind, DA clubs and coaches are held to a higher-than-average standard.

ECNL SUPER CUP
The ECNL has announced the creation of a new program within the league’s Player Identification and Selection Platform in the fall of 2021.
The ECNL Super Cup will be an additive program for U15-U18/19 players to supplement the training and competition provided in ECNL Club Competition, and to create a “First Team” culture and pathway within youth soccer clubs.
ECNL
The ECNL Girls is a US Club Soccer-sanctioned league founded in 2009 to enhance the developmental experience of the female youth soccer players in the United States.
The goal of the ECNL Girls is to change the landscape for elite female soccer players in the United States with innovative, player-centered programming and to enhance the overall experience by creating a better, more enjoyable, and more successful player, coach and club development model.
Michigan Hawks is pleased to offer 2 teams in each group competing in the ECNL, Hawks and Hawks Magic. Hawks is programmed year round and Hawks Magic is programmed for 8 months accomodating a break for high school programming.
ECNL REGIONAL LEAGUE
ECNL Girls Regional Leagues are operated and managed by the ECNL Girls to insure a consistent environment and level of professionalism across all leagues. Each league allows improved coordination and collaboration between teams of different levels within ECNL clubs, or opportunity for teams and players in other clubs to develop through regular high level competition.
The ECNL Girls Regional Leagues will offer a pathway to an ECNL Girls Regional League Post-Season, featuring two stages. The ECNL Regional League Championship Series will consist of four regional events held across the country to qualify into the ECNL Regional League Finals along with additional automatic qualifiers from ECNL Regional Leagues, which will be held in conjunction with the ECNL Girls Post-Season.
