Michele Brach-Krzisnik began her youth playing career with the Michigan Hawks. She was also on the Michigan ODP team (1989-1993) and the Region II Regional Team (1989-1992/1997.) She participated with the Regional Team in the 1997 Olympic Soccer Festival losing to the US Women’s National Team in the Finals. Michele played soccer at Livonia Stevenson High School where her team won the 1990 State Championship and she was Team Captain,All-District, All-Region and All-State(1993). Michele played at the University of Michigan, where she was named All-Big Ten (1996), and at the University of Detroit from 1993-1994, where she received the Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. She was a Team Captain at the University of Michigan for 2 years (1995-1997) and at U of D (1994-1995). She also played on the former Detroit Jaguars W-League team, and in the W2 League she played for the Columbus Ziggs and the Kalamazoo Quest.
